Who we are
SwornVoice LLC is a California company based in Burbank, California. We provide witness interviews and draft declarations to law firms.
The law firm decides who is on its witness list. We handle that information for the firm, to provide the service.
This policy covers the SwornVoice service and this website. The rules for firms that use the service are in our terms of service.
What we collect
We collect:
- Contact details for witnesses that a firm supplies, such as name, phone number and language.
- Recordings and transcripts of interviews, made only with the witness's consent.
- Text replies and consent records, such as a YES or STOP and when it arrived.
- Documents a firm uploads, such as the complaint.
- Signing records when a witness signs: the typed name, the city entered and the time. We also record the browser, the IP address, and each step taken on the signing page.
- Account information for the firm's users.
- What you send in our request-access form: name, firm, email, phone and note.
How we use it
We use it only to provide the service: asking witnesses for consent, running interviews, drafting declarations, collecting signatures and delivering the results to the firm.
We never use any of it to train models. We never sell it, and we never share it for marketing.
We use request-access details only to reply to you about SwornVoice. If you tick the box for product news, we send occasional updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Recording consent
Every call starts with the AI interviewer saying the call is automated and that it is recorded and transcribed. Then it asks for permission. Nothing is recorded before the person says yes. You can read how the call works.
If they say no, the call ends. We keep no recording, transcript or analysis of that call, and the provider's copy is deleted.
We keep only the phone number, the time of the call and the fact that recording was declined, so the number is not called again.
Text messaging
This section covers our text message program, SwornVoice witness outreach.
- Program name
- SwornVoice witness outreach.
- Who gets texts
- People on a law firm's witness list, and witnesses signing a declaration. We text people on a firm's witness list to ask whether they agree to a recorded phone interview for the firm's case. Witnesses signing a declaration get texts with their private signing link and a one-time code.
- Message frequency
- 1 to 2 consent texts per person, plus up to 7 texts around signing (the link, the one-time code, reminders, and a copy of the signed declaration).
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opting out and help
- Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. When a person replies STOP, we add their number to our do-not-contact list and stop texting and calling it.
- Your mobile information
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- How to contact us
- Email hello@swornvoice.com, or write to SwornVoice LLC, Burbank, California.
Who processes it
We use these kinds of providers:
- Telephony providers carry our calls and texts.
- Speech providers transcribe the calls.
- Language-model providers help draft declarations from transcripts.
- Storage providers hold our data and our encrypted backups. A firm may also have files delivered to storage it chooses.
Each provider processes data only to do its part of the service.
How long we keep it
We keep case materials for the life of the engagement.
A firm can erase one person's data, or a whole case, at any time. We delete or return materials at the firm's written request, subject to any legal hold.
Encrypted backups expire after 30 days, so an erased item can stay in a backup until then.
We keep, with no interview content, the do-not-contact list (so a person who asked is never contacted again) and records of consent, opt-out and deletion.
Carrier records
Our telephone carrier keeps its own record that a call took place: the numbers and the time, with no audio.
Phone carriers also keep their own records of text messages under their own policies.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
