Witness Declarations for Class Action Law Firms

SwornVoice drafts witness declarations for class action law firms from recorded phone interviews with the people on your witness list. We text every person on your list for consent and call everyone who says yes. Your attorney reviews each draft, and the witness signs on their phone.

For plaintiff-side wage-and-hour, PAGA and employment cases. Interviews in English or Spanish.

How it works in five steps

  1. Your list comes in

Upload your witness list. The interview is built from the claims your case pleads, and your attorney approves the script before anyone is contacted.

  2. A consent text

Each person gets a text asking if they agree to a short recorded interview. Nobody is called until they say yes. A STOP reply puts them on the do-not-contact list.

  3. The call

An AI interviewer calls in English or Spanish, on weekdays from 9 to 5 in the witness's own time zone. It says the call is automated and recorded, and asks before recording. A finished interview is about 16 minutes for 5 claims.

  4. Attorney review

We draft a declaration from the call transcript and check every quote in it word for word against that transcript. Your attorney reviews and approves each draft in the hub, your firm's private SwornVoice workspace.

  5. Phone signature

The witness gets a texted link and a one-time code, reads the declaration, and signs on their phone. You get a sealed PDF with a certificate page.

Every person on the list, not every 10th

A paralegal calling a 500-person list by hand is roughly 170 hours of work, so firms doing it by hand sample every 10th person. SwornVoice runs the same list in days.

By hand

Every 10th person

  • A sample of the list gets a call.
  • A 500-person list is roughly 170 hours of paralegal time.

With SwornVoice

100% of the list

  • Every person gets a consent text, and everyone who says yes gets a call.
  • The system runs the same list in days. Your team reviews drafts.

Who SwornVoice is for

  • Plaintiff-side class action firms with wage-and-hour, PAGA or employment cases.

  • Cases where witnesses speak English or Spanish.

Not a law firm

SwornVoice is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Your firm's attorney reviews and approves every draft before a witness is asked to sign.

Common questions

What does SwornVoice do?

SwornVoice turns a law firm's witness list into draft declarations. We text each person for consent, interview everyone who says yes by phone, and draft a declaration from each transcript. Your attorney reviews every draft, and the witness signs on their phone.

Do you contact everyone on the list, or a sample?

SwornVoice contacts everyone on your witness list. We text every person on your list for consent and call everyone who says yes. That is 100% of the list, not a sample. Firms doing this by hand sample every 10th person. Nobody on the do-not-contact list is ever texted or called.

How long does a 500-person list take?

A 500-person list takes SwornVoice days. A paralegal calling a 500-person list by hand is roughly 170 hours of work. Our system texts the whole list and calls everyone who says yes, on weekdays from 9 to 5 in each witness's own time zone. Your team spends its time on review.

Is SwornVoice a law firm?

No. SwornVoice is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. SwornVoice LLC is a California company that runs witness interviews and drafts declarations for law firms. Your firm's attorney reviews and approves every draft before a witness signs. A draft is not legal advice and is not evidence.

I got a text from SwornVoice witness outreach. What is it?

A text from SwornVoice witness outreach comes from a law firm that uses SwornVoice. The firm is asking whether you agree to a short recorded phone interview about one of its cases. Nobody calls you unless you say yes. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Our privacy policy explains how we handle texts.
